Refund Eligibility
- Refunds apply only to online purchases made directly through our website.
- Requests must be submitted within 10 days of delivery.
- Due to the handmade nature of many of our products, we cannot process refunds after this period.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a refund:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- Proof of purchase is required.
Please note:
- Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
- Sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded.
- Gift purchases shipped directly to you are eligible for store credit only.
Custom & Made-to-Order Items (Final Sale)
Custom, personalized, and made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
This includes any product that is created specifically after your order is placed. Due to the handmade nature of our products, many items are individually crafted and may be sourced from overseas partners, making them final sale.
Exchanges
- We only offer exchanges for items that are defective or damaged.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Gift cards
- Holiday and seasonal items
- Custom, personalized, or special-order items
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order within 3 days of delivery. This allows us to promptly file claims with shipping carriers if needed.
If your item is damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 3 days of delivery
- Provide your order number, email, phone number, and photos
- Keep all packaging materials for carrier inspection
We will work quickly to resolve the issue.

- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
- For items over $100, we recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:

- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Processing typically takes a few business days after approval
Refund Timing
Please allow:
- 5–10 business days for return transit
- 3–5 business days for inspection and processing
- 5–10 business days for your bank to post the refund

Shipping Costs
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the issue is due to our error
- If we made a mistake (defective or incorrect item), we will cover return shipping
Store Purchases
Items purchased in a Happy Kangaroo retail store or from other retailers cannot be returned through our website.
