Bana Triple, comprised of three tubes of different diameters cut on the bias combined into one, results in an asymmetrical vase. The piece derives its name from ikebana, the traditional art of Japanese flower arrangement. The sculptural and functional vase has ever-dynamic aesthetics relative to the position of the viewer vis-à-vis the asymmetrical vase. Named for Ida Rubinstein, the Belle Époque dancer and art patron who commissioned Ravel’s Boléro, the vase embodies the same pioneering spirit that led her to form her own dance company and champion new artistic works.

Ida Vase represents another technical breakthrough in borosilicate glass making:two distinct volumes fused concentrically at the base through an advanced process never achieved before.

Lift is a raised sculptural tray inspired by the Pantheon’s oculus, blurring the boundaries between exterior and interior, or, in this case, between tray and table. An iconic toasting flute, Revolution Champagne by fferrone. 

The first glassware collection designed by Felicia Ferrone began as a self-initiated project. After the collection was published in 2001, in Italy and the United States, it was licensed to a number of notable Italian companies. In 2009, Ferrone rescinded the licensing rights in order to produce and distribute her design collections under her namesake brand, fferrone, which she launched in 2010. The dual-sided functionality of the design was inspired by an elaborate evening of dining and drinking with friends.
