Now available in an unlimited edition, this monograph features Schnabel’s work in all media: huge paintings with everyday materials, sculptures that transpose pictorial forms into space, movies that paint portraits of unconventional heroes, or a Venetian palace in New York. The best opportunity to experience his art outside of meeting it in person.
Hardcover, 9.8 x 13.1 in., 8.14 lb, 572 pages

“His greatest book, and yes, it is his book, because it was edited in close collaboration with the artist. It, too, is “larger than life”... Schnabel’s paintings celebrate painting, they are a feast of colors, connections, and references, and above all of freedom.”

Neue Zürcher Zeitung
