Inspired by the vibrant lands of the Bounkani region of Côte d’Ivoire, the Bounkani scented candle embodies the soul of a land rich in traditions and contrasts. The decor, which pays tribute to the majestic baobab trees, was designed by artists from Uniwax in Abidjan, with whom we have been working since the creation of our social and environmental partnership with the Cœur Vert Foundation.

The Bounkani scented candle becomes a decorative object in its own right and an essential piece in our collection. The design, in yellow on a gray background, is probably the most spring-like in this collection.

Light up your candle and place it away from drafts and direct sunlight to ensure an even and steady flame. When lighting, ignite all the wicks and remain nearby while the candle is burning. Keep the wax pool free from matches, wick trimmings, or any other debris.

During burning, always allow the entire surface of the wax to melt completely before extinguishing the candle to prevent tunneling; the first burn will naturally take longer. Once the full surface has liquefied, do not burn for more than one additional hour.

Never allow the final centimeters of wax to burn, as the flame may come into contact with the glass and overheat the vessel.

After each burn, gently straighten the wicks before the wax fully solidifies to ensure an even relighting. Clean the inside of the vessel regularly with a non-alcoholic product to prevent soot buildup and preserve its clarity.

Store your candle in a dry place at room temperature to maintain its quality and integrity over time.

Trim the wicks to approximately 6 mm (¼ inch) before each use to maintain a clean, steady flame. This simple gesture prevents smoke and soot, preserving the purity of the burn and the elegance of the vessel.
