Metalace Lines Mezuzah Silver

4.5” x 1”

Metalaceart is a contemporary design company offering a wide collection of lace metal objects that is unrivaled and unique. They create original handmade items designed, crafted and inspired from the world of lace fabrics and embroidery using advanced metal process technologies.
Their designs reflect the desire to preserve the special and personal touch that was an integral part of all handcrafted objects historically. Despite the use of industrial materials and technology, our product retains its authenticity due to the handmade process applied to each item. In the transition from the "language" and texture of textile fabric to the stiffness of stainless steel, they create an art form that that marries the old and the new.

Metalace's pieces are designed and crafted by Talila Abraham, an Israeli born artist who has a M.Sc in Management Design from the Technion Israeli institute of Technology in Haifa and a B.Sc.T.E in industrial design from the Holon Academic Institute of Technology in Israel.

Her designs are inspired from the work of unknown women and merge the unique personal and romantic feeling of handcraft with contemporary materials and advanced technology. Each piece is individually processed and hand-treated for optimal shape and structure leading to a unique and personal product. Talila's designs range from tableware to home décor, and are sold in galleries and specialty stores worldwide.

Inspired by the woven elegance of classic rattan and the sacred geometry of the Magen David, this Rosh Hashanah challah cover blends tradition with contemporary design to create a meaningful and elegant centerpiece for your holiday table.

Crafted from a refined blend of linen and mesh/tulle, the cover features an intricate, laser-cut pattern of interlocking Stars of David—symbolizing unity, continuity, and Jewish identity. The openwork design allows light and texture to play across your challah or challah board, adding depth and beauty to your Rosh Hashanah celebration.

The flowing, scalloped edge evokes a sense of movement and continuity—echoing the cyclical rhythm of time as we close one year and welcome the next. The Hebrew phrase “Shanah Tovah” is subtly integrated into the design, making this a thoughtful and symbolic gift for the Jewish New Year.
