This menorah, crafted from multicolor onyx and travertine, embodies the perfect alliance between artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Each candle holder, hand-sculpted from naturally colored onyx—powder pink, deep green, golden amber, milky white, and graphic stripes—forms a vibrant and subtly balanced mineral composition.

The raw travertine base, accented with a border of white onyx, creates a refined and luminous contrast, enhancing the piece's sculptural character.

Designed to accommodate oil vials, this menorah can also be used as a centerpiece or a decorative object on a console, a bookshelf, or a mantelpiece.

With its elongated lines and organic elegance, it stands out as a work of art in its own right, simultaneously functional and contemplative.

The Michael Aram New Leaves Collection is a celebration of the beauty and meaning found in individual leaves. Inspired by specific types of foliage that have taken on sentimental meaning in Michael's life, this collection embodies his genuine passion for nature in its purest and most personal form. Each leaf has its own story, its own symbolism and its own inherent wonder, detail and shape. For the first time, Michael is also interpreting an entire collection of leaves in the proportions in which they actually occur in nature, amplifying the sense of realism for which he is so well known. While each leaf is expressed as a sculptural object, Michael has yet again managed to infuse function into his forms, making them perfect for the most elemental moments in our daily lives.

"There are Champa, or Frangipani trees in my garden and at my workshop in India. In fact, they are all over India. They are generally planted near Buddhist and Hindu Temples since they are considered spirit trees, highly symbolic of love and recreation. While the flowers are recognized for their beauty, gentle color transitions and fragrance, it is actually the stiff, glossy leaf that intrigues me most. There is such strength in their regimented and perfected shapes."

The Italian region of Tuscany is a feast for all senses. A creative incubator that has cultivated art and architecture for eras including Etruscan, Roman, Renaissance and modern times. Timeworn churches, once stops on nineteenth-century Grand Tours, stand tall in the towns’ piazzas. Rolling hills of wheat and colorful olive groves, that inspire authentic Tuscan cuisine, are dotted with villas built by the prestigious Medici family. The Tyrrhenian Sea extends off its coast, lapping the shore of Elba, the island where the emperor Napoleon was exiled. Quaint villages, historic towns and bustling cities are scattered across its landscape, which is almost as varied as the communities themselves. From annual horse races at Piazza del Campo, and the centuries-old winemaking traditions of the Chianti region to the city of Pisa, an ancient Maritime Republic known for the youthful spirit of its Scuola Normale Superiore and Leaning Tower alike, Tuscany is the place of dreams, where thousands come to relive its history and take in the beauty of a region.

In the fashion world, Ferragamo, Gucci and Pucci all have ties to Florence and its endless inspiration. However, what truly defines Tuscany is its timelessness. Masterpieces from centuries past still lure immense crowds. Brunelleschi’s dome in Florence never fails to strike onlookers with awe.

At its core, basketball is simple. All you need is a ball and a hoop. Any pavement will suffice. A full team of five on five isn’t even required. However, when it comes to the National Basketball Association, the sport is anything but simple. The bounce of a ball. The swoosh of the net. The roar of the crowd. Everything becomes heightened when these giants among men take to the court—simply spectacular. Perhaps the only time the word “simple” can be used when describing the NBA.

The latest addition to Assouline’s magnificent Ultimate collection explores the 100 most significant moments in the history of the NBA. In Basketball: The Impossible Collection, renowned journalist Howard Beck recounts unforgettable events both on and off the court, accompanied by inspiring visuals showcasing the impact of the league across the globe. Housed in an embossed rubber clamshell that resembles the iconic orange basketball, this title is filled with NBA legends from Wilt Chamberlain to Michael Jordan, from Allen Iverson to LeBron James, and replete with everything from backboard-breaking dunks to championship-winning buzzer beaters.

Author Howard Beck, a senior writer at The Ringer, has been covering the NBA full-time since 1997, including seven years on the Lakers beat for the Los Angeles Daily News and nine years on the Knicks beat for The New York Times. He also covered the league on a national basis for Bleacher Report and Sports Illustrated. Beck’s writing has been honored multiple times by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) and the Professional Basketball Writers Association (PBWA)
