Tradition meets design once again in our velvet Laser-cut Challah Cover. For this contemporary cover, we’ve listen to our customers and created an elegant look using hebrew modern letters to have the words "Shabbat Shalom" present at the table. Velvet fabric is laser-cut and placed on top of translucent tulle to ensure the challah bread remains covered during the blessing of the wine according to Jewish law.

One of the most recent trends to emerge in the fashion industry, laser cutting is prized for the unparalleled quality it produces. Laser cutting captures details far too delicate and precise to be created by hand. And because the laser leaves the fabric essentially untouched, each challah cover is as untainted by the manufacturing process as possible, without any fraying, seams or post-processing necessary. We take 30 full minutes to cut each challah cover because we know this is the only way to produce the striking details that make this challah cover unlike any other.

• Pattern Design: Shabat Shalom Hebrew Type
• Material: Velvet topped with tulle (92% nylon, 8% elastane)
• Measurements:
• Packaging: Each challah cover comes packaged in a plastic pouch with a button closure.

Specially made for storing the challah cover, the pouch prevents the cover from wrinkling and protects it from dust and other potentially damaging things nearby. Beyond providing great storage, each pouch makes the challah cover a great gift for any Jewish occasion.

The Michael Aram Pomegranate Collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union.

"I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of fresh squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."
