The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.

Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.

The Baux-de-Provence, Abbey of Sénanque, cypress-lined farmhouses, and elegant Lourmarin château overlap like pages from a travel diary, while flamingos add whimsical Camargue charm.

The landscape becomes a painting, a joyful puzzle where the eye wanders. Flamingos in the foreground add an unexpected and light touch and nod to the wetlands of the Camargue.

Fresh fennel, slightly anise-like, evokes sunlit markets and herbs drying beneath umbrella pines. Floral lavandin releases a Mediterranean breath recalling lavender fields rippling in the mistral, while warm amber brings gentle depth like summer evenings settling over Provençal hills. Sublimation involves printing the design with natural pigments on a biodegradable film. This is then applied around the glass and heated so that it adheres to the material. The flame can be seen through the design, which lights up like a lamp, bringing the candle to life.

The diffuser vessel is a luxurious, heavyweight amber glass, stamped with the signature “A” Assouline Emblem Logo and topped with a brass-hued collar that holds eight rattan reeds. The diffuser is housed in a high-quality box, wrapped in Assouline’s signature red stippled paper. The formula features a premium blend of fragrance oils for a long-lasting, superior scent diffusion.
