Based in Thiers, the cutlery capital of France, Capdeco specializes in French flatware with a large assortment of handles.

Made in France

The design for our Doric Flatware collection was inspired by a visit to the ancient Grecian Parthenon temple. Dedicated to the goddess Athena, many of the Doric columns of this historic landmark still stand today as an enduring symbol of Classical Greece. As with the Parthenon, our collection combines endurance and beauty. The clear handles evoke the rotunda’s dome capturing the light bursting through the oculus and reminding us of the magnificence of the cosmos.

Our exquisite Ondulato collection of pure linen dinner and cocktail napkins were inspired by the graceful undulation of waves. Each napkin is meticulously crafted from our Festival linen to capture the serene beauty and rhythmic flow of the ocean, bringing a touch of coastal elegance to your dining experience. Perfect for both casual gatherings and sophisticated soirées,  these napkins, available in three two-toned color ways, add a refined, yet relaxed charm to any table setting.

For many centuries, white pearls have been seen as symbols of purity and love. Sprinkled with light pink and white fragments, the White Pearls scented candle is inspired by the perfection of the pearl, also known as “tears of the gods.”

The delicate and floral scent of White Pearls, made up of white musk and jasmine, references the feminine quality of white pearls.

The subtle soul of man shines through in the creation of our hand-blown glasses. The incandescent material is wrapped around a rod, as the craftsman's breath brings the form to life. Colors appear thanks to the inclusion of confetti or strands of glass that appear randomly, as if by magic. hand-blown glass is a precious technique that embodies the craftsman's know-how.

The Chapter Bookends, sold in pairs, are made from solid 2-1/2" thick blocks of acrylic for added stability and weight to make them heavy enough to hold up larger sized books. The simple and elegant design was inspired by a book itself, and the color application floats in the center of the block like the spine of a book. The color reflects throughout the piece and you can turn them different ways for different looks.

*Please note that our Neon Pink color can sometimes look orange depending on the angle you look at it, OR the color that the item is placed upon.  It is the nature of the material and not a flaw.  We do offer a separate orange color, if you want a true "Orange" OR if you want a softer more sophisticated pink color we offer our "Rose" color.

Product Care

It is important that you take proper care of your piece to ensure that it will last a long time without being damaged. It is recommended that you use a suede style chamois polishing cloth and/or a non-abrasive paper towel along with a cleaning fluid stating that it is suitable for use on acrylic.

Do not place your piece on rough or uneven surfaces that can scrape the bottom. If you purchased a printed piece, the bottom of the bowl is sealed with a sealant, but it is not impenetrable and can be scratched. If a rubber bumper should come off, they can be replaced with similar new ones found at most hardware stores.

Please note that using any products containing ammonia, acetone or lactic acid will permanently damage the acrylic. Periodically, you can polish your acrylic piece to remove fine scratches and bring back the acrylic to its original glossy shine. We recommend using Novus Acrylic polishes and cleaners. You can find this product online or at selected retail stores.

Forte dei Marmi, the crown jewel of Tuscany’s Mediterranean coast, boasts unmatched sun-kissed shores and seaside splendor. Its past tells a story of transformation from a quaint fishing village to a glamorous jet-set playground. Candy-colored umbrellas from beach clubs dot the pristine sands, with the Apuan Alps providing a majestic backdrop. Renowned sculptors like Michelangelo and Jeff Koons have drawn inspiration from nearby Carrara and Pietrasanta. Edoardo Nesi’s evocative text and stunning photography capture the spirit of this unspoiled haven, making it an ideal destination for a timeless Italian vacation.

Early in the 1900s, one-time oil baron Henry Morrison Flagler took interest in the Southern coast of Florida and began developing an exclusive resort community. Establishing a railroad that would allow easier access to the area, he went on to build two hotels—his hope was that America’s first families would come to populate the area. This modest community would later evolve into an iconic American destination, hosting British royalty, American movie stars, and becoming the home-away-from-home to some of the country’s leading families. As the century continued, Palm Beach established itself as a luxury hideaway synonymous with old-world glamour and new-world sophistication.

In this splendid volume, longtime resident and Palm Beach social fixture Aerin Lauder takes us through her Palm Beach. From favorite restaurants like Nandos and Renatos, to favorite houses like La Follia and Villa Artemis, she takes us to the elite shopping of Worth Avenue and the scenic walkways of the Lake Worth trail, all the while relating to us the histories, faces, and places that have become so identified with Palm Beach.

Considered by many as the country’s most dynamic, fastest growing and sexiest city, Miami is more popular than ever before. Yet, it is a city that doesn’t merely change but evolves, never rewriting the past, just adding to its illustrious heritage. And this is the real beauty of Miami. The chic Surf Club and the vibrant Faena Hotel did not replace the emblematic Raleigh of the 1940s nor the Ritz Carlton of the 50s, rather they complement them. Classics like Joe’s Stone Crab continue to serve their signature fare to sell-out crowds each night, as new establishments attract with name chefs. The iconic art deco architecture remains on full display as the modern Herzog & de Meuron-designed Perez Art Museum stands in stark contrast. Replete with arts and culture year round from the international art at The Bass to the street art of Wynwood Walls, each December, the city is taken over by the global cultural elite for Art Basel Miami Beach, a fair that attracts over 80,000 visitors who turn out for the momentous art, such as Maurizio Cattelan’s show stopping “Comedian”, and the exuberant festivities hosted each evening.

Well-known for its nightlife, pleasure is a focal point of Miami life at all times. Yachts and recreational boats line its marinas, lively beaches offer front row seats to a parade of bronzed revelers, and bladers and bikers coast along its beach front promenades. Miami has become the hub for everything chic, fiery and colorful. Miami Beach takes the readers on a tour of this bold and wonderous metropolis.
